Duties:
As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will oversee the mechanical operations within the marine industry. Your responsibilities will include:
Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a mechanical supervisor in the marine industry.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction, repair, and maintenance of marine engines.
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively, management, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Oversee and coordinate mechanical activities in the marine industry, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Manage the construction, repair, and maintenance of marine engines, including troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues.
Lead and mentor a team of mechanical technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Conduct regular inspections of mechanical equipment and systems to identify maintenance needs and prevent breakdowns.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for compliance and reporting purposes.
Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of mechanical team members.
Enforce safety regulations and guidelines to create a safe working environment for all personnel.
