About the roleThe post holder will be part of the wider leadership team and you will be a highly organised and motivated individual. It is imperative that you can provide evidence of working with people who have experienced a mental health problem and you are able to demonstrate an understanding of how anxiety and depression presents in Primary Care. With a real interest in helping people with anxiety and depression to achieve a level of recovery which will improve their overall wellbeing and day to day life.The post involves significant line management, case management, and clinical supervision of Trainee/Qualified Low Intensity workers under the direction of the Clinical Director, Senior Therapist and Step 2 Lead. The post holder will also be expected to carryout assessments and risk assessments, treatment in both 1-1 and group settings and the use of online CBT packages. About youApplicants should hold a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner qualification (Post Graduate Certificate or Level 3 undergraduate course). Applicants should also be registered/working towards registration with the BABCP or BPS. Ideally, you will have undertaken LTC training and PWP Supervision Training, or be willing to undertake this training.The successful candidate will join the team at Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Wellbeing Service. Working as part of the Wellbeing Service Step 2 team and wider service management team, we will offer numerous prospects for learning and development through strong team support, clinical supervision, and integration with our Step 3 team.In addition to this we offer a comprehensive employee package including allocated time for the development of Specialist Interests.The service works core 9-5 hours but offers patient therapy between the hours of 8am-8pm Monday to Friday, and in future on Saturday mornings. Candidates should be prepared to work flexibly to meet service needs within these hours.
