Scott’s Richmond captures the splendour of the original concept in Mayfair and brings it to the stunning banks of the Thames in Richmond, just outside central London. 

We are currently seeking a dedicated and accomplished Senior
Sommelier to join our esteemed wine team. As a Senior Sommelier, you will play
a pivotal role in curating our extensive wine list, providing expert guidance
to guests, and contributing to the overall excellence of our dining experience.
If you have a passion for wine, a wealth of knowledge in oenology, and a proven
track record of elevating the dining experience, we invite you to be a key
influencer at our restaurant.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide expert recommendations to guests, suggesting wine
pairings that enhance their dining experience.

- Collaborate with the management team to develop and
execute wine-focused events and promotions.

- Manage wine inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper
storage conditions.

- Stay informed about industry trends, new releases, and
emerging winemakers.

 

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Senior Sommelier or in a similar
leadership role within a high-end restaurant.

- Extensive knowledge of wines, regions, and varietals,
supported by relevant certifications.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Impeccable grooming and presentation.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and
efficiently manage tasks.

- Familiarity with inventory management and ordering
processes.
