There are 13 members of our Infrastructure Team which enables us to offer a very broad range of skills. You will soon find that no two days are the same and the opportunities to learn and develop are always there and very much encouraged.

The Trust works from more than 70 sites across Cumbria, Northumberland, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Gateshead, South Tyneside and Sunderland. We have more than 8,000 people working for us and a budget of over £500 million. All of which means this is definitely not a 9 - 5 desk-based office job.

Job description

Job responsibilities

The Infrastructure technician role is a mix of innovation and support. It goes without saying we always strive to maximise system uptime but providing users with access to the latest technologies to make their role easier and maximise our valuable resource across the trust is also key to the success of the infrastructure team.

The configuration, documentation, support, maintenance and development of the trusts server, network and telephony infrastructure is key to the role.

As part of the infrastructure team working alongside the other Digital Service functions you will quickly develop relationships and opportunities which combine to form both a challenging and rewarding role.
