Religious Education Teacher role at a Secondary School in Fleet

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Religious Education (RE) lessons for students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Develop a curriculum that encourages critical thinking and understanding of religious concepts.

Assess and monitor student progress in RE, providing constructive feedback.

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to spiritual and moral development.

Collaborate with colleagues to integrate RE into the wider school activities and ethos.

Participate in school events, parents' evenings, and professional development related to RE.

 

 

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field.

Experience teaching RE at the secondary school level.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Ability to make effective use of IT as a learning resource in RE lessons.

Passion for Religious Education and inspiring young people.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
