About The Role

We are seeking a skilled IT Procurement & Asset Manager to join our dynamic IT division. This role is responsible for managing the procurement of IT equipment, software, and services, as well as overseeing the lifecycle management of IT assets. The ideal candidate will have a background in IT procurement, asset management, and vendor relations.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Management
Develop and implement efficient procurement strategies for IT equipment, software, and services. Negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals while ensuring quality and compliance with company standards.
Asset Management
Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets from acquisition to disposal. Ensure accurate tracking and management of assets
Vendor Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors and service providers. Manage contracts and SLAs to ensure vendors meet or exceed expectation
Compliance and Reporting
Working closely with our IT Security & Data Protection teams, ensure all IT procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations. Prepare and present detailed reports on procurement and asset management activities to senior management.
Strategic Planning
Work closely with IT and other departments to forecast IT needs and plan procurement activities accordingly. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Team Leadership
Lead and develop the IT procurement and asset management teams, setting clear goals and objectives, and providing training as needed. What Wren Offer:

About You

What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in IT procurement and asset management, with an understanding of IT products and market trends. Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. Proficient in IT Asset Management software and tools. Excellent organisational and leadership skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the business.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with Jira & Jira Service mgmt. is beneficial.
