About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Healthcare Senior Associate with a strong background in inquests to join our dynamic Newcastle team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse portfolio of healthcare cases, focusing on inquests and related healthcare matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a passion for healthcare law and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in inquest proceedings, including preparation and advocacy. Provide expert legal advice on healthcare matters, including clinical negligence, regulatory issues, and patient safety. Manage a caseload of healthcare cases with minimal supervision, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services. Collaborate with clients, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and evidence. Prepare and review legal documents, including witness statements, reports, and correspondence. Stay updated on relevant legal developments and contribute to the team's knowledge base. Participate in business development activities and contribute to the growth of the healthcare practice.

About you

Qualified with significant experience in healthcare law and inquests. Strong advocacy skills and experience representing clients at inquests. Excellent understanding of healthcare regulations and clinical negligence. Ability to manage complex caseloads and work independently. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
