Job Details

Full registration (and a licence to practice) with the General Medical Council (GMC) Holder of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT or equivalent), or within six months of award of CCT or equivalent by date of interview FRCPath or equivalent

Clinical Experience & Knowledge
Essential

Evidence of completed training programme in Cellular Pathology

Desirable

Previous experience of working within wider subspecialties

Clinical Skills & Ability
Essential

Ability to report as a general histopathologist, covering wider range of subspecialties as highlighted under additional information

Desirable

Developing a special interest in subspecialties Qualified to undertake post-mortem examinations

Research & Teaching Skills
Essential

Ability to teach pathology to trainees and biomedical scientists

Desirable

Willingness to participate in research and clinical trial work
