The Functional Safety Engineer will provide technical and functional responsibility for Functional Safety project execution.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent applicable demonstratable experience Chartered Engineer and member of appropriate engineering institution ideal Good experience of EPC / MAC, plant operations experience in Process Engineering or Automation & Control Systems within the oil / gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore or infrastructure industries TUV FS Engineer certificate Experience in Brownfield upgrades / replacement automation and control projects Compressor Station / Metering experience is advantageous Maintain familiarity with latest industry developments and predict the impact on company activities Commercially aware Strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and diplomacy Inquisitive, well organised and have a keen eye for detail Able to operate in an integrated team environment supporting others with a desire and ability to build trust and respect throughout the team
