Job Title: Workshop Cleaner

Location: Leighton Buzzard

Shift: 4on 4off, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm

Hourly Rate: £12 per hour

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable cleaner to join our automotive workshop team. As a cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our workshop premises.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of workshop floors, surfaces, and equipment.
2. Clean and sanitize restroom facilities ensuring they are well-stocked with supplies.
3. Emptying and disposing of trash and recycling materials in accordance with company guidelines.
4. Cleaning windows and mirrors to ensure a clear and polished appearance.
5. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring a safe working environment.
6. Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or issues to management.
7. Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective cleaning routines.
8. Respond promptly to any cleaning emergencies or spills.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

1. Prior experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred, but not required.
2. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
3. Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness.
4. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
5. Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy lifting.
6. Flexibility to work the designated shift pattern, including weekends and holidays as needed.
