Teacher of Welsh Language required at a School in Newport.


Your new school I am recruiting for a Teacher of Welsh language in a large secondary school in Newport that has over 1000 pupils. The school has high standards of teaching and excellent facilities, allowing the pupils to succeed. The leadership team have a clear vision for the school and communicate it very well to create an inclusive ethos and a strong community feeling.

Your new role 
 
Starting in September, you will be teaching a full-time Welsh timetable. Your job will include:

Full teaching responsibilities including planning, preparation and marking.Teach KS3, KS4 and KS5 second language Welsh.Pastoral duties including parents evenings and being a form tutor.  
 What you'll need to succeed You will hold a valid PGCE, ideally with QTS.Previous experience teaching Welsh up to KS5Strong behavioural management skillsHold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one.Up to date EWC registration.
