The Role
We are looking for a fully remote insights analyst who will use their expertise in scientific data and their healthcare knowledge to support the creation of meaningful business insights through data analysis and visualization, answering critical business questions facing senior executives in global pharma today.You will be working in a dynamic environment as part of the Insights Analytics team in the Business Consulting group at Veeva. You will be focused on data analytics and visualization, with the opportunity to also get involved with generative AI, data engineering, data mining, and machine learning. You will work closely with the consultants to develop and create insights from Veeva Link data. What You'll Do
Analyze data from Veeva Link as well as other Veeva datasets and external data Design, build, and maintain visualizations/dashboards to uncover relevant data trends Clearly and confidently describe the data structure and analytical approach you adopt to solve a specific business question Work in a collaborative cross-functional team delivering business-relevant data analytics and insights for pharma to support their R&D, pre-launch, launch, and post-launch strategies As required, present your findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders at pharma and justify your findings Support innovation and large-scale transformative insights projects
Requirements
MD/PhD/MSc with a thorough understanding of scientific activities from medical experts (congresses, publications, etc) Experience with data analytics and large/complex datasets Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Spotfire, PowerBI, Qlik, etc) Succinct, clear, and logical working style Collaborative and flexible working style Ambition for high-quality and self-motivated work Qualified candidates must be based and legally authorized to be employed in the UK.
