Job Details:

• Role: Anatomical Pathology Technician
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Core hours)
• Additional: Opportunity to cover on-call service
• Start Date: 25th November 2024
• End Date: 28th February 2025
• Shift Coverage: 70 shifts
• Location: Whiston Hospital, Mortuary

Key Responsibilities:

• Working in the mortuary providing essential anatomical pathology services.
• Contributing to the processing and examination of tissue specimens.
• Ensuring high standards of clinical care, hygiene, and safety.
• Supporting the team with mortuary-related tasks.
• Opportunity to cover on-call service as required.

Requirements:

• Must be qualified as an Anatomical Pathology Technician or equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Flexibility to work shifts and on-call if required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
