Specific ServicesRequired:

In the role of theAutomation QA Engineer the following services arerequired:

• • Reviews all system requirements test scripts testscenarios to create appropriate testing workflow. Ensures that thisset of highlevel requirements is consistent complete correct andoperationally defined.
  • Reviews softwarecomponents and collaborates with Development group Product OwnersSystem Teams and Operations to ensure best overall testingstrategies best practices and techniques for automatedtesting.
  • Interfaces with the design andimplementation teams so that any problems arising during QA can beresolved in accordance with the fundamental design concepts anduser needs and constraints.
  • Assist in alltesting processes involving the migration and integration of newand legacy technologies.
  • Follows the testingstandards and strategies and uses them correctly.
  • Interface with the user(s) and sponsor(s) and all otherstakeholders to determine their (evolving) needs.
  • Follows the set standards for the automated testingsoftware policies and execution.
  • Generatesproducts such as automated functional tests regression tests loadtests and test scenario around ETL and data conversion.
  • Responsible for creating automated test case scenariosfor Agile Delivery Team to meet Acceptance Criteria
  • Reviews and understands the design and development of thedatabase architecture including relational data structures datamarts data dictionaries and logical and physical datamodels.
  • Develop and maintain efficient welldocumented test scripts custom to the integration of data andprocesses from the legacy systems to the new applications andtechnologies.
  • Design develop and implementETL testing scripts that are consistent with the solutions for dataingestion cleansing business rules execution and DataDistribution.
  • Perform tests and validate dataflows and ETL processes according to businessrequirements.
  • Ability to create complex SQLjoins to test data migration requirements.
  • Expertise in querying and testing databases such as SQLServer DB2 and Oracle.
  • Designing test scriptsthat validate the determined data conversion strategy from legacyto new platforms.
  • Involvement in all stageslike Requirements gathering Data mapping Data extraction Dataloading Data testing documentation performance optimization andmaintenance.
  • Excellent communicationpresentation collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver business and technicalvalue.
  • Must be very organized proactive andselfdirected. Must be able to perform with minimalsupervision.
  • Must have very strong abstractthinking and problemsolving skills.

  • Experience in Test Driven Developmentand testing tools and techniques.
  • Testingexperience with Web Services (REST SOAP WCF) and tools such asSOAPUI and SOAP Sonar.
