We arelooking for L&D Assistant will work closely with theTraining Manager and colleagues in the L&D team to providea professional and supportive role in delivering progressiveL&D practices to support the business needs. You will workclosely with your colleagues in the L&D to help deliver afirstclass handson service to support all our employees. They willalso foster strong and personable working relationships with themanagement teams employees internal and external customers wherenecessary.


Whatwill you bedoing

As aL&D Assistant your core responsibilities will be

  • Providingexcellent customer service by acting as a point of contact forL&D queries from internal customers through all forms ofcommunication
  • Toprovide general administrative support to the training manager andthe L&Dteam
  • Providingan efficient L&D service for course administrationincluding the planning and coordination of all courses through toadministration to delegates (including registrations courseinstructions prelearning material) and dealing with alterationscancellationsetc
  • Liaise withComex 2000line managers to ensure L&D events are publishedand communicated to maximise take up and minimise additionalcharges forcancellations/changes.
  • Sourcingtraining and development suppliers where requested maintain recordsof any agreements and terms for futurereviews.
  • Generatereports and MI data periodically to produce analytical data fordirectorates anddepartments.
  • Assistwith periodic and ad hoc projects e.g. apprentices andinductions.
  • Escalatequeries and concerns with suppliers for immediate attention andresolution.
  • Helpselect appropriate learning/training materials and programmes toprovide effective and innovativesolutions.
  • Supportthe L&D with inductions and planning of alltraining.
  • Youwill be required to travel to various Comex 2000sites.
  • Responsiblefor own health and safety and adhering to company policy andprocedures.
  • Responsible forongoing personal development to assist thebusiness.
  • Maintaininguptodate L&D records for all employees and ensure dataintegrity and controls areused.
  • Providerelevant reports and MI data on L&D within the company forpresentation to Managers and the Executive ManagementTeam
  • Totrack the L&D budget and liaise with Executive managementteam to track purchase ordernumbers.
  • Any otherduties commensurate with the accountabilities of thepost.
