We also have 12 beautiful recently refurbished riverside en-suite rooms available, with breakfast included and served in the pub.

Our fantastic team is made up of expert chefs, enthusiastic bar and wait staff, experienced managers, and dedicated housekeepers, all of which provide the best service day in and day out across all areas of our venue.

 


 

Our Grounds and Maintenance Assistant will be a dual
role with the requirement to work some weekends on a rotated basis,  you will maintain daily checks to ensure the good running
of the building and equipment.  You will be reliable and professional and
an all-round team player



Duties to include




  • Assisting
    in keeping public areas tidy and well-maintained
  • Helping
    housekeeping, bar, and banqueting staff to set up rooms or move furniture
  • Ensuring
    the safety of guests by, for instance, placing and removing signage that
    indicates wet floors or paint
  • Physical
    strength and endurance for carrying and moving large items
  • Good
    listening skills to adequately gauge and anticipate the needs of customers requirements
  • Excellent
    verbal skills to effectively communicate with coworkers colleagues and
    guests
  • Basic
    maintenance skills to assist with maintenance tasks as needed, general DIY
    skills
  • Maintenance
    tasks such as replacing light bulbs, painting, decorating
  • Daily
    checks such as gas and kerosene levels, drains, bio unit, bins.
  • Mowing of lawns in summer, and basic lawn care

This role is available on a part time / casual or contracted basis - cbut willing to concider full time for the right candidate
