Are you an experienced medical bookings coordinator or medical administrator? We have a fantastic opportunity for a professional and organised individual to join us as the first point of contact in the Heath Lodge Clinic patient 'journey'. Offering patients quick and easy access to MRI (Private and NHS), Ultrasound, X-RAY, DEXA and Pain Management.The role is full time ( hours per week), mainly working between 9am 5pm Monday - Friday, however you may be required to work your hour day anytime between 8am- (or 8pmwhen we have one late night opening). There is also some occasional Saturday working required.
Main duties of the job
Ensuring all patient appointments are allocated or offered appropriately based on the clinical information detailed in the referral and relevant Consultant protocol.Answer in coming booking calls promptly (together with any general 'enquiry' calls)Check through the 'new referrals' for any referral marked 'urgent' or 'fairly soon' and prioritise/ expediate appointment.Update digital PPS patient record.You will be trained to provide cover for our reception or reports team so that the clinic can provide a seamless service.
