Working alongside our team of Cardiac Physiologists, nurses, Departmental support workers, Medical staff and AHPs you will play a pivotal role in the care of our patients.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Multidisciplinary team.

We take PRIDE in our work for the NNUH and we hope that your application will show us how you take PRIDE in your work too.

We are looking for an individual to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the department as well as ensuring that we are well stocked. Organise and put away stock as it arrives. Assist other members of the team with some patient care as required.

Making a good cup of tea/coffee for a patient after a test is a must

You must also be able to work as part of a team and work in a timely and organised manner and be happy to take direction from senior members of the team.

Job responsibilities

Establish and maintain a working rapport with technical, nursing, medical, ancillary and administration colleagues Help with cleaning and maintain tidiness in all areas Assist with the cleaning of all equipment and quality testing of specialised equipment To be responsible for the maintenance of equipment at ward level, reporting and ensuring accurate records are kept and equipment retrieved and returned as necessary To check linen allocation daily, report any problems to the Specialist Nurse and liaise with the linen room to rectify problems. Ensure dirty linen is bagged and disposed of correctly Check emergency equipment is available in bed bay oxygen tubing, masks,Suction
