The Opportunity

Based in Newcastle, our Building Engineering group is undergoing significant growth and development as it continues to win major work in the industrial and property sectors. This is an opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Chartered electrical engineer to join our Newcastle team, supporting the current growth and opportunity in the property and industrial sectors.

Our team is looking to strengthen its project level leadership through the recruitment of an electrical engineering lead who can provide a combination of technical, project and business area leadership. They will hold specific multi-disciplinary technical leadership and management responsibilities within the Property and Industry business areas.

As a Design lead within our building engineering group you will undertake a key role in delivering our clients’ requirements. You will work with the Arup project management to oversee the technical engineering and project delivery. Your Electrical Engineering background will come in to its own when helping to guide the technical direction of our projects, and when helping members of the Electrical team achieve their full potential.

Have exposure to the Whole Building Services Design Life Cycle from Concept through to Detailed Design with exposure to a wide range of projects – Mixed Use, Commercial, Residential, Data Centre or HV would be an advantageAre Chartered, working towards chartership or are interested in becoming chartered quicklyHold an Electrical Engineering QualificationHave client facing experienceHave the ability to lead and develop teams
