Within our Business Services Team, we provide services to over 3,500 users across around 20 locations, in the UK, and is comprised of key functions including Technology
Mazars has invested significantly in technology to underpin the business, including move of all hosted data services to the Azure cloud. As part of the next stage of our growth and maturity we are looking for a lead technical engineer to join our dynamic team.
About the role
This is a key role for us, you will act as technical authority for Mazars Cloud services, both those managed by Service and those Mazars delivered, through Build, Change and Operational Delivery in Private and Hosted Cloud and Supporting Services. In Addition to being the key Product stakeholder in the Growing Digital Data Delivery and Management across the firms Cloud Services and drive the technical maturity and support roadmaps for future Cloud delivery. This is not a role to be ‘in a box' you will be involved in a broad range of technical projects such as virtualisation, end user compute, as well as involvement in wider technology services. The Role is responsible to ensure Stable and Sustainable services are maintained and managed through Transition and Change across Mazars UK IT environment. What is also important is how this is achieved. Aligning to industry best practice, adopting and driving improvements in governance and ensuring our information security strategy aligns to our platforms is a key part of the role. Building on positive culture and high-quality relationships is in our DNA. You will deal with colleagues in the client facing business, other technical experts, project delivery teams and colleagues around the world to achieve your ambitions, and not just be a ‘back-office techie.'. Experience in implementing and Supporting cloud solutions in Azure; preferably in a mixed Hosted and/or Vendor Managed Cloud Service Experience in IaaS, PaaS, web services, Firewalls, Microsoft Office 365, Azure AD Experience of Cloud Native Delivery Experience in Managing and Maintaining Enterprise Applications Experience across the Windows Server 2016 and later and Windows Desktop Windows 10 and 11 Experience in Managing Active Directory Domain Services including Group Policy and Certificate Services Experience in PowerShell scriptingAbout Mazars
