Salary: £31,000 per annum

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a prominent company in Sheffield for a skilled and experienced Fabricator/Welder. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a professional with expertise in fabricating tanks and vessels, specifically using carbon steel. The successful candidate will also be proficient in operating powered rollers, press brakes, and hydraulic shears.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and weld tanks and vessels using carbon steel.
  • Operate powered rollers, press brakes, and hydraulic shears.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure all work meets the quality and safety standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding and fabricating equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fabricating and welding, specifically with carbon steel.
  • Proficiency in operating powered rollers, press brakes, and hydraulic shears.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
