About the Role - Year 6 Intervention Teacher

Teaching:

  • Deliver engaging intervention interventions and SATS booster sessions using high-quality resources and curricula.
  • Utilise diverse assessment methods to track progress and set aspirational targets.
  • Use data to tailor plans to individual learners' needs.
  • Set homework and plan additional activities to reinforce learning.

Behaviour and Safety:

  • Create a safe and stimulating environment where children are motivated to learn.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of students, adhering to school protocols.
  • Model high standards of behaviour and dress, maintaining positive relationships with students.

Teamwork and Professional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively within a supportive team.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and stakeholders.
