Job summary

Ensure the delivery of a full cleaning service within NHS Property Services premises in accordance with the NHS Property Services Domestic Services Operative Manual, at the prescribed times, in line with policies and procedures and as detailed in the cleaning work schedules through the provision of management and supervision to the cleaning team.

Main duties of the job

Through the day-to-day management of domestic services, ensure the provision of a high quality, cost effective service which reflects customer need and operates as an effective commercial business unit. Ensure a clean environment for patient care in accordance with health & safety requirements, "NHS National Specification of Cleaning Standards", Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), Patient Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) and NHS Property Services policies and procedures

We have a fantastic opportunity for a 12 month fixed term contact position as Domestic/cleaning Team Leader - Mobile to join our team based at 57-59 Bath road, Reading. Hours of Work will be:

Full time, hours per week Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 Salary is £25, per annum A driving licence is required. About the role: This role will deliver a full cleaning service within NHS Property Services premises in accordance with the NHS Property Services Domestic Services Operative Manual, at the prescribed times, in line with policies and procedures and as detailed in the cleaning work schedules. . Qualifications - City and Guilds Level 3 Cleaning and Support Services or equivalent demonstrable experience. IOSH Managing Safely qualification or willingness to work towards. Qualifications

Essential

City and Guilds Level 3 Cleaning and Support Services or equivalent demonstrable experience. IOSH Managing Safely qualification or willingness to work towards.

Experience

Essential

Demonstrable experience of managing/supervising domestic services people. Experience of managing customer complaints. Experience of managing consumables/stock levels. Experience of risk management, conducting cleaning audits and making judgements on compliance.

Desirable

Experience of working in a healthcare related environment. Experience of managing a delegated budget
