Identificationof the work required to resolve the problem deciding the parts andgeneral materials needed ensuring correct parts areused.

For example soas not to compromise the fire rating integrity and security ofdoors.

KeyDuties/Accountabilities:

First FixCarpentry which includes: floor joists timber framed stud wallsceilings timberflooring.

Measure andorder appropriate stock for eachjob.

Attend jobs asscheduled and withintimescales.

Identifymaterials required for the repair and ensure these are collected /ordered in advance of attendingjobs.

Second FixCarpentry door frames doors fitting of ironmongery skirtingstairs/newel post replacement/handrail andspindles.

Kitchen fitting(first and secondfix).

To includefirst fix plumbing including renewing pipework. Second fix plumbingto include fitting taps andwaste.

Ability toundertake repairs as required such as masonry / plastering / patchrepairs to wall finishes tiling and painting(desirable).

Ensure repairsare carried out to the letting standard and signpost tenants totheir tenancy agreement or Somerset Council website for landlord /tenant repairresponsibilities.

Carry out tasksand projects with minimal support / guidance whilst takingaccountability for quality and quantity ofwork.

RATESNEGOTIABLE IN LINE WITHEXPERIENCE.

37 Hours P/Wk.8am 4pm
