Requirements

What you will do

  • Lead a 3-month project, starting from architectural design, all the way through to implementation and delivery.
  • Collaborate with Product, Quant Research, DevOps, and other teams to design and build enterprise-grade features.
  • Establish standards for code quality, testing, and enterprise-grade architecture. Also, make sure to prioritize documentation.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for the project's performance, resilience, and availability.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.
  • Maintain awareness of cost implications related to tools, services, and product implementations.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering
  • Excellent understanding of Javascript / Typescript
  • Strong understanding of NestJS, Express or similar NodeJS backend frameworks
  • Proficiency in Cloud Architecture & System Design (preferably AWS)
  • Experience with microservices / distributed systems

Great to haves

  • Prior experience or a strong interest in FinTech & SaaS
  • Python experience would be a plus
  • Work experience in a start/scale-up
