Whatwill I spend my time on at Noriker?

  • Workingwith colleagues to produce functional, effective, and efficient codeusing JavaScript, Node.JS or Python for web development purposesconsidering the User EXperience in your designs

  • Designand maintain the architecture of various applications and components

  • Utiliseyour skillset to determine the most useful programming language fora given task

  • Activelytest features and problem solve to ensure efficient running of code

  • Collaboratestrategically with colleagues to review code and ensure optimalperformance

  • Buildand test APIs 

Requirements:

  •  JavaScript/Node.JSor Python (Web Development)

  • Experiencewith both front-end and back-end

  • Frontend:React, Vue, Next, Angular, HTMX, Svelte

  • Back-end

    • Python:(Django (preferred), Flask, FastAPI)

    • IfNode.JS: (Express (preferred), Koa, Meteor, Sails)

  • Comfortableinteracting with SQL databases and REST APIs

DesirableSkills (but not essential)

  • Experiencewith cloud native technologies in GCP (preferred), AWS or Azure

  • Databasedesign

  • ContinuousIntegration / Continuous Deployment

  • Docker

Whatis our interview process?

  • Ifthere's a match, we'll invite you for a 30 min screening call toallow us to get to know each other better

  • Thenext stage is an in-person interview with a leader from the Tradingand Analytics team and Senior management, we may ask you to preparesomething for this one too

  • We'lltry and get all of this done within 3 weeks
