How will you make an impact? HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? In partnership with HR, ensure employee-related policies, procedures and documents are up-to-date and aligned to Group requirements and also to UK employment law and practices. In partnership with HR, manage the complete process of employee investigations, grievances and disciplinaries. Partnering with internal teams to identify risk areas and to build processes and playbooks for recurring employee-related matters as well as teaming up with other internal employment counsel within Group Legal to develop a centre of excellence. Support the business in developing and delivering Employee Relations trainings as needed. Act as point of contact with Richemont data privacy teams on topics such as DSARs. Drafting and revising employment related agreements and policies including: offer letters; severance agreements; confidentiality agreements; employee handbooks; engagements with consultants and/or agency workers; and other employment related documents. Partnering with internal teams to identify risk areas and to build processes and playbooks for recurring employee-related matters. Partnering with the HR Learning and Development team to deliver compliance related training. Supporting employment litigation, in conjunction with external counsel as necessary. Monitoring and advising re: relevant developments in applicable employment laws/cases/regulations etc.

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

5+ years of post-qualification experience in labour and employment law. UK Qualified lawyer. Strong experience with labour and employment law in UK, particularly re: performance management, compliance and disciplinary procedures. Willingness to learn about employment laws in other jurisdictions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to partner effectively with cross-functional teams to provide practical advice and bring strategic and scalable solutions. Experience with coordinating and driving to completion large-scale projects. Candidate must be: discreet; confident; hands-on and self-motivated; collaborative; agile/flexible; able to learn quickly; and be solutions oriented. In-house experience preferred but not necessarily required. Foreign languages, particularly French, useful but not necessary.
