Protocol Education is presenting an exciting opportunity for a Drama teacher in a well-mannered secondary school in Lewisham. This position is aimed at a person who has experience working in drama and theatre, such as acting, directing, or working backstage. Within the school, the Drama department is full of entertainment and joy.

Role overview:

As a Drama teacher, you will have an essential role, offering catered support to students and small groups in classrooms and through intervention programs. This is a part-time position with working hours from 8:30am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday. The start date will be as soon as possible, and your salary will be between £900-£1200 a week.

    Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for drama and a desire to share that passion with students are essential qualities. You should be enthusiastic about teaching drama and helping students develop their theatrical skills.
  • Effective communication is critical for conveying acting techniques, directing instructions, and dramatic concepts to students. You should be able to articulate ideas clearly and provide constructive feedback.
  • Undergo a criminal background check, including an enhanced Disclosure and Baring Service (DBS) check to ensure the safety of the students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
