Our client, a leading professional services firm, is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join their Defence and Security practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with top-tier talent, and make a significant impact on national security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, and SQL Server.
- Extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into a new platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and build data products that deliver actionable insights.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Work closely with other developers and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in data engineering roles, including data pipeline development and data integration.
- Strong proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, and SQL Server.
- Solid understanding of Python programming language.
- Experience working with diverse data sets and data sources.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- DV Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain DV clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Experience working with Palantir systems
