About The Role

Morrison Water Services is currently looking to recruit a Team Leader to work on our contract with Welsh Water in North Wales.

As Team Leader you will be part of our Capital Team. This team are responsible for providing and delivering operational capability in site investigation work on the clean water network.

Maintain and encourage a positive health and safety culture. Ensure that all plant is operated safely and serviced to schedule and calibrated in a timely manner, mitigating risks to health and safety. Ensure all areas of operational delivery meet Morrison Water Services, the client and customer requirements inclusive of Hygiene, Quality and Customer satisfaction. Support with all allocated work. Ensuring all work is effectively managed so that delivery meets the client and customer requirements. And are delivered within relevant regulatory and client asset standards (SLA).

Ensure the planning team and supervisors have all the relevant information. Job details, plant, equipment and materials to complete the job close down procedure and for it to be invoiced. Carry out all on site risk assessments.Undertake regular checks on vehicles, trailers, fittings and plant to ensure good housekeeping is carried out and they are safe to use and operate.

Do you have a full UKdriving licence? This will be essential for this role.

Are you experienced in operations and delivery within the Clean Water Utilities Sector, with a working knowledge of pressurised pipelines, safe dig techniques, trial hole investigations, under pressure installation, cut outs, hygiene practices and street works safety?

Do you have a proven track record in the installation and repair of mains and fittings on a clean water network?

You will need to be Street works qualified (NRSWA card 1 to 6 and 9), with SHEA Water card, Asbestos awareness, towing capability, CPCS below 10t, and First Aid.

Can you communicate at all levels?

Are you able to work within health and safety legislation?

Additional Information

You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools. You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground.  You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction.
