Themis recruit are looking for aCredit Hire Litigator the successful candidate will be responsiblefor a litigated caseload of high value Credit Hirefiles.

The main tasks willinclude:
  • Progressingyour caseload in a manner to ensure that clients receiveappropriate professional timely and pertinent legal advice withregular contact whilst managing theirexpectations.
  • Ensuringall KPIs and financial targets aremet.
  • Draftingproceedings at Court and undertaking all aspects of a litigatedclaim.
  • InstructingBarristers to represent clients at hearings and obtain formalAdvice over issues ofquantum.
  • InstructingExperts and liaising with thirdparties.
  • Undertakingtelephone Hearings andCMCs.
  • Undertakingother duties reasonably required by partners or seniormanagement.



Requirements Minimum of 2years Claimant experience in running high value credit hirecases.
Stronglitigation experience is a must. Multi Track experience ispreferred however very strong and technical fast track Fee earnersare encouraged toapply.
Excellentknowledge of relevant and recent case law concerning CreditHire.
Excellentunderstanding of the Civil ProcedureRules.
Anunderstanding of the MOJprocess.
Have proven ITskills and ability to adapt newtechnology.
Able todemonstrate strong administrative and organisationalskills.
Excellentcommunication skills including oral and written presentationskills.
Theability to provide a high level of clientcare.
Advocacyexperience.
Proficient withProclaim Case Management although training will beprovided.

Minimum of 2 years Claimant experience in running high value credithire cases. Strong litigation experience is a must. Multi Trackexperience is preferred, however very strong and technical fasttrack Fee earners are encouraged to apply. Excellent knowledge ofrelevant and recent case law concerning Credit Hire. Excellentunderstanding of the Civil Procedure Rules. An understanding of theMOJ process. Have proven IT skills and ability to adapt newtechnology. Able to demonstrate strong administrative andorganisational skills. Excellent communication skills includingoral and written presentation skills. The ability to provide a highlevel of client care. Advocacy experience. Proficient with ProclaimCase Management, although training will be provided.
