What we'll need you to bring

Educated to degree level or equivalent, such as diploma level plus relevant experience within a Health Records environment, including previous supervisory experience. Specialist knowledge of Health Records gained through relevant experience, or professional qualification IHRIM (Diploma in Health Records & Information Management).
Knowledge of patient administration systems.
Computer literate and keyboard skills.
Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection.
Multi skilled, and experience in multi-tasking.
Effective communication, interpersonal and teambuilding skills both written and verbal.
Experience of working as part of a team and on own initiative.
Flexibility to be able to work across the range of multi sections within the Health Records Department.
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy and physiology.
Knowledge and understanding of statistical information.

Contract type

Permanent Full time 37 hours

Location and Working Pattern

This role will be based within Health Records/OPD/ECU Departments within University Hospital Wishaw

The working pattern for this role Monday to Friday 08.00am - 18.00pm
