We’re looking for a highly experienced Design and Technology Teacher to join our clients schools team of excellent Teachers to support the department Teaching students across KS3 to KS5. Design and Technology is a great subject to help encourage students to use their creativity and imagination to design and make products that solve real world problems within a variety of contexts so are looking for an educator that can successfully convey this through their Teaching, so we are looking for quality teachers that can successfully guide students into becoming inspired and excited about using their creative sides
The school in mind are an over-subscribed School based very centrally to Northampton in NN3. They have been rated an ‘Outstanding’ School by Ofsted, as well as ‘One of the best schools in the East Midlands’ renowned for consistently excellent results.
Requirements
- A degree in design and technology or related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is ideal but not necessary
- Experience in teaching DT and or Art to students of varied ages and abilities.
- Strong knowledge of different approaches within the subject
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and promote a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
