Description:

Prescreeningquestions:
  • How do you locateconformance requirements
  • What are therequirements for handling nonconforming hardware
  • What do you do if you see someone not following workinstructions
Responsibilities:
  • Performdetailed inspection of Engines structural electrical and mechanicalassemblies and systems using CAD models and Blueprints
  • Verify Assemblies for conformance against engineeringrequirements
  • Document nonconformance underinternal procedures and overcommunicate to resolve qualityissues
  • Experience with Precision measurementtools such as micrometers calipers dial indicators etc
  • Experience with final photo documentation ofhardware
  • Experience with hardware containmentrelated to nonconformances and notices of escapement fromsuppliers
  • Perform closeout first articleinprocess & final inspections
Qualifications:
  • High schooldiploma or equivalency certificate
  • 5 years ofinspection experience in an aerospace military or manufacturingenvironment
  • Proficiency in working withnonconformance systems
  • Competence in Blueprintreading skills and 3D model
  • Experience withperforming electronic and mechanical testing and inspections usingportable measuring devices
  • Proficient ininspecting tight tolerance highvalue flight vehicles andsystems.
  • Familiar with the use of personalcomputers.
  • Selfmotivation and ability toprioritize projects to meet completion dates.
  • Ability to earn trust maintain positive and professionalrelationships and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanentresident (current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into theU.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Must bewilling to work all shifts overtime and/or weekends asneeded
  • Ease with climbing ladders stoopingbending crawling and mobility while working within tightspaces
Desired:
  • Airframe & Powerplant certificate(A&P) or ASQ CQA
  • Experience working withaerospace propulsion assembly installation and testing processesand procedures
  • Practical experience workingwithin quality management systems (AS9100 and ISO 9001)
  • Strong understanding of safety programs and OSHAregulations and requirements
