DWF LLP is seeking to recruit an Associate with experience in defender personal injury work, to join the nationally recognised insurance team, based in Edinburgh or Glasgow working for Lynne Macfarlane, Partner and Solicitor Advocate.

About the role

You will be expected to handle a mixed case load of employers' and public liability cases, as well as road traffic cases, for a variety of leading UK based insurers and their insureds. We expect the successful candidate to ensure that cases are progressed as quickly and efficiently as possible, and to provide sound technical advice.

The vacancy has arisen due to an increasing workload and we are seeking applications from candidates who ideally have relevant experience, but will consider any applicant who wishes to gain experience in a fast paced personal injury defender team, working for some of the biggest names in the UK insurance industry.

About you

We will consider applications from candidates with strong academics who have some post-qualification experience of handling personal injury litigation, but also welcome applications from those with more general court experience.

The role can be based from either our Glasgow or Edinburgh office and we offer a hybrid working arrangement, few days in the office and a few from home.
