GSL Education Newcastle is currently recruiting a Male PE Teacher to work in a forward-thinking and dynamic secondary school in Washington, Tyne and Wear. We are seeking a passionate and motivated educator who is committed to promoting physical health, teamwork, and personal excellence.

Job Summary: The successful Male PE Teacher will be part of an energetic and dedicated team, deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages all students to participate fully and achieve their potential. You will play a crucial role in developing students' physical abilities, confidence, and a lifelong love for sports.

Responsibilities of a PE Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.
• Promote physical fitness and healthy lifestyles among students.
• Organize and oversee extracurricular sports activities and competitions.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and discipline in the classroom and on the sports field.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall PE curriculum.

Qualifications for a PE Teacher:

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interactive abilities.
• A passion for sports and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
