Executive Assistant to Principal Responsibilities

As the Executive Assistant to Principal some of your duties will include:

Providing a full administrative function including responding to queries with care and tact, ensuring confidentiality. Diary management, briefing the Principal before daily/weekly meetings, preparing papers, minuting and meeting coordination. Oversee travel and accommodation bookings Coordination of internal and external events Meet and greet visitors, providing excellent hospitality Updating website and Sharepoint. Manage and oversee elections, committee meetings and annual calendar for the governing body Other ad hoc projects and general duties in-keeping with the position

Executive Assistant to Principal Experience


The successful postholder will be an experienced Senior PA, ideally with experience working within education, with governance or board-level stakeholder management. You will also be able to demonstrate:

Degree-level education, or equivalent professional experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills, with exceptional written English and strong numerical skills. A self-motivated, willing and tactful approach, able to deal with confidential matters with tact and diplomacy. A problem-solving, methodical approach and willingness to take initiative. Professional experience within a local University environment would be hugely beneficial.
