Managea varied caseload of clinical negligence claims under thesupervision of seniorsolicitors.
Conduct thoroughinvestigations into medical malpractice cases including obtainingand reviewing medical records instructing experts and draftingwitness statements.
Provide clearand compassionate legal advice to clients ensuring they areinformed and supported throughout theprocess.
Prepare legal documentsincluding letters of claim pleadings and courtbundles.
Attend court hearings casemanagement conferences and settlementmeetings.
Liaise with medicalexperts barristers and other third parties to progress casesefficiently.
Maintain accurate anduptodate records on the firm s case managementsystem.
Contribute to the firm sbusiness development activities including writing articles andattending networkingevents.
Requirements
- Qualifiedsolicitor with a strong academic background (minimum 2:1degree).
- Completed atraining contract with significant exposure to clinical negligenceor personal injury law.
- Excellentanalytical and problemsolvingskills.
- Strong communication andinterpersonal abilities with a compassionate approach to clientcare.
- Highly organised with theability to manage multiple priorities and work underpressure.
- Attention to detail and acommitment to delivering highqualitywork.
- Proficient in using legalresearch tools and case managementsoftware.
