Job summary

Weare looking for a salaried GP for 4-7 sessions per week.

The Practice hosts Doctors inTraining, F2s, medical students andtrainee nurses.

Enhanced Access is provided where the sessionsare shared on a rota basis

About us

We are a democratic, friendly, mutually supportive,close-working team providing care to our urban population of 10,610. We striveto keep workflow to a minimum, made possible by having our pharmacy hub team, PCNpharmacist and dedicated workflow person who processes incoming clinicalletters. Typically each clinician can expect 1 home visit on most days .The majority of our patients live close to the surgery.

We encourage development of services and currently provideminor surgery and IUD and implant fitting. We have a monthly clinical supportsession from a local psychiatrist and psychotherapy clinics run by traineesproviding free therapy to our patients.

In addition to the daily midday GP and ANP huddle we meetweekly as a clinical team and monthly as a practice team for in-house training.A substantial up-grade of the buildingwas completed in the autumn 2023. This provides more consulting rooms for ourincreasing population.
