30 Hours per week, t his role is predominantly Monday to Friday between 9 am-5 pm, but with flexibility to do some weekends and evenings when there is an event.

About the role

As a Driver with Leonard Cheshire you will provide the transportation requirements of the service. Ensuring the safety of passengers, you will assist residents as required, fully supporting individual mobility needs.

You will ensure our vehicles are well maintained, with regular safety checks for oil, water, tyre pressure etc, frequently cleaned and well presented.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a driving licence with no endorsements and previous driving experience. Be MiDAS accredited for appropriate vehicles (suitable training will be required for other vehicles). Have experience of driving a minibus and/or adapted vehicles (desirable for some roles). Be willing to work flexibly to the needs of the service.
