GSL Education Hull Branch are seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Bridlington, where you can inspire young minds and cultivate a love for learning in a supportive environment.
About the role:
As a Teacher (Year 1), you will deliver the national curriculum in a creative and engaging way, helping young learners establish a strong educational foundation. Your key responsibilities will include planning and delivering dynamic lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for early education, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, with prior experience in Key Stage 1 being highly desirable.
Responsibilities of the Teacher:
- Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that capture students' imaginations and promote a love of learning.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering a respectful and inclusive atmosphere where all students can thrive.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing tailored support to meet individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Engage with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's development and encourage their involvement in the learning process.
Requirements of the Teacher:
- Have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
- A genuine passion for early education and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
- The ability to adapt teaching strategies to cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Prior experience in Key Stage 1 is highly desirable, but we welcome applications from passionate educators eager to make a difference.
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
