General Overview ofPosition

To facilitate the smooth running of afocused laser/Versacam department, ensure glass is engraved in atimely manner and within the boundaries of the daily program,liaising with management on any issues and backlogs. Must be ableto work individually with minimum supervision but also as part of ateam to manage daily workloads in the most efficient way inconjunction with the management team.

Duties& Responsibilities

• Must beable to operate glass engraving machines(laser/sand-blast).
• Must be fully conversantwith all Versacam operations.
  Fault finding andrectification on artwork (simpleamendments).
• Cylindricalengraving
• Maintenance of plant machinery,liaise with management on any larger jobs that require outsideengineers.
• QC checking on individual orders andreporting defects using internal systems.
• Actas the first point of contact for the artworkcoordinator.
• Warehouse duties, to includepicking/packing and assisting with stockcontrol.
• General house-keeping for thelaser/Versacam area.
