Due to company growth and significant contract wins, we are on the hunt for experienced Arborists to join our Irish team in our expanding Arb Utility division based across the following areas; Dublin, Meath, Louth, Cavan, Down and Armagh.

These roles will primarily involve the safe removal and clearance of vegetation and trees around power lines so experience of working within Utility Arb is ideal but not essential however you must be a qualified Arborist as a minimum.

Rare overnight stays may be required, dependent on workload and job locations.

The person;

You will need to be a confident climber with bags of motivation and high standards. Previous experience in a similar role on Utility Arb is desirable, but not essential as long as you have a background in Arb. Due to the environment and nature of the work, you must be aware of strict Health & Safety measures and adhere to these at all times.

Chainsaw Maintenance and cross-cutting, 201 Felling Small trees up to 380mm, 202 Felling and Processing Medium Trees Over 380mm and up to 760mm, 304 Felling and Processing Large Trees Over 760mm, 305 Individual Windblown Trees, 308 Dealing with Interwoven Stems and Part Blown Trees, 306 Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue , 203 Using a chainsaw from a rope and harness, 204 Aerial Tree Pruning, 302 Aerial Tree Rigging, 303 Arboricultural Ground Worker, 205 Use of a Chainsaw from a Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP), 309 Powered Pole Pruner Maintenance and Operation, 207 Emergency tree work operations, 305 Assisted Felling, 301 Manually fed woodchipper operations PTS First Aid
