The Role: 

As an SEN Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive tailored learning experiences that cater to their individual requirements. From devising personalised learning plans to collaborating with teachers and parents, you will be instrumental in fostering an inclusive learning environment that promotes academic and personal growth.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

- Identify and assess the individual needs of students with SEN

- Develop and implement personalised learning strategies and interventions

- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support

- Monitor and evaluate the progress of students, adjusting strategies as necessary

- Act as an advocate for students with SEN, ensuring their voices are heard and respected

 

Requirements: 

- Relevant qualifications and experience in special education

- Strong knowledge and understanding of SEN principles and best practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference
