About the Role:GSL Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher (Primary) to join our vibrant school community in Rotherham. As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized support to students with a range of special educational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with special educational needs
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
  • Foster positive relationships with students to promote their social, emotional, and academic development

The successful candidate will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a primary setting
  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for making a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs
