Senior Cover Supervisor 

The position of Senior Cover Supervisor presents an excellent opportunity for candidates to engage with young learners. This role can be a rewarding career in itself or a stepping stone toward teaching or other youth-focused professions. The school supports cover supervisors in their areas of passion while offering a wide range of experiences. Emphasis is placed on teamwork and the ability to acquire new skills rather than prior experience, with thorough training provided.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing various classes in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Implementing the provided lesson plans
  • Managing student behavior and ensuring students remain on task
  • Assisting teachers in the classroom
  • Delivering dynamic and engaging lessons from existing plans
  • Supporting students by addressing their questions
Additional Duties
  • Providing classroom and technician support during quieter periods
  • Invigilating exams
  • Handling general administrative tasks
  • Coordinating pre-planned cover schedules with the Senior Administrative Officer
Candidate Expectations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
