Job Description

Registered General Nurse (Band 5)

38.5 hours per week (days and/or nights)

Up to £43,700 per annum dependent on experience.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (Band 5) with a focus on adult care to join our client's dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing high-quality care to diverse patients in a supportive and inclusive environment. This service specialises in Acquired Brain Injury and Mental Health needs.

Qualifications
  • Valid RGN (Registered General Nurse) qualification with a focus on adult care
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act
  • Experience in working with adult patients with acquired brain injuries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging healthcare environment
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and learning

Day-to-Day
  • Assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans for adult patients
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
  • Administering medications and treatments in accordance with professional standards and regulations
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and effective treatment outcomes
  • Advocating for patient needs and rights within the healthcare system
  • Maintaining accurate and thorough patient records and documentation
