What you will enjoy doing You will manage the siteoperational activity on a shift by shift basis to ensure pipeline demands aremet You will ensure alloperational activities are carried out in compliance with our safety managementsystems, this includes management of contractors and preparing, issuing andcontrolling permits to work The role requires liaisingwith key stakeholders to ensure the ongoing safe and reliable operation of thesite Also, you will Havedirect responsibility for the output from the SMR to ensure that customerdemands are satisfied in accordance with local operating procedures And lastly, you will operate plant to obtain maximum performance andensure that purity specifications are achieved. Monitor and maintain individualplant efficiency to provide optimum plant throughput in accordance with designspecifications

What makes you great

Suitable candidates ideally will be educated to HNC level in an engineering subject A broad knowledge of Steam Methane Reformeroperation or similar plant is desirable You will need to have an aptitude for problemsolving, planning and coping with the demands of operating, and leading a teamunder pressure Also, proficiency in the production of regular managementreports and the ability to own and manage issues of an inter-disciplinarynature will be important attributes And lastly, you will also need to be an excellent communicator,a good decision-maker, and be able to demonstrate a high level of self-motivationand initiative. NEBOSH certificate preferred
