About the role:

We are currently seeking Teacher in A-Level Photography to join The Bedford Sixth Form.

As a Teacher you play an important role in the success of our students through:

Undertaking an agreed teaching commitment to develop students’ knowledge, skills, and understanding. Engaging, and motivating students, fostering curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. Planning, preparing and delivering high-quality lessons. Providing timely assessments and feedback to help students improve their learning. Contributing to achieving retention and success targets for courses taught.

About you:

Ideal candidates will have:

Degree in a relevant subject Certificate in Education or equivalent in line with the Statutory Instrument English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent Current experience of teaching A-Level Textiles. Current experience of teaching A-Level Photography. Experience of teaching in a Sixth Form or FE College environment with students 16 – 18 year olds Experience of using ILT to enhance teaching and learning Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
