Andover, United Kingdom Aster Group Full time

Are you a qualified asbestos surveyor looking for a new challenge? We have an opportunity in our team just for you.

What you’ll be doing

As an asbestos surveyor, you’ll be working across Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire carrying out asbestos re-inspections and refurbishment & demolition surveys on our general needs stock. You’ll ensure surveys are accurately recorded using a handheld device, produce reports and share data with colleagues across the business.

You’ll identify repairs required and fully detail any remedial works, liaising with internal planned and reactive delivery teams as well as our asbestos removal company.

About you

You’ll already be experienced in carrying out asbestos surveys in domestic dwellings and you’ll have a P402 qualification. Housing association experience is desired but not essential.

You’ll be working collaboratively across the business and with external contractors, so you’ll be a confident communicator.

The data from surveys needs to be accurate so you’ll have a keen eye for detail and be confident using IT including the Microsoft office suite and asset register.

As you’ll be working across the region we will provide you with a company vehicle, you will require a full UK manual driving licence.
